For UK/European people (or anyone who can play Region 2 DVDs), according to Play.com, a couple of Albert films are set to be released on Region 2 DVD soon-ish:

The Adventures Of Sherlock Holmes' Smarter Brother (which Albert has an uncredited cameo in) will be released on DVD on September 4, 2006.
A Man Of No Importance will be released on DVD on September 11, 2006.

I've added a script for the photo gallery but you do not need to sign up to view the images - the script is just to make it easier for me to upload new photos. I hope you like the new-ish site and, if you haven't already, please consider joining the Albert Finney fanlisting :)

While the site has been offline, Albert has signed up for a new film! Called 'Before the Devil Knows You're Dead', the film about "brothers who try to rob their parents' jewellery store, only to botch the job" (Variety). Albert will play Charles. Philip Seymour Hoffman will head the cast, which also includes Ethan Hawke and Marisa Tomei, and the film will be directed by Sidney Lumet. Before the Devil Knows You're Dead is due to start filming in New York next month.

Also announced while the site was offline was 'Ocean's Thirteen', the sequel to Ocean's Eleven and Ocean's Twelve. There's been no indication that Albert will reprise his very brief role as LeMarque in O13 and, given as how Catherine Zeta Jones will not be appearing in the O13, it's most probably very unlikely that her character's father will be needed. But it's still a project to look out for just in case ;)

Albert's other projects appear to be coming along quite well. A Good Year is in post-production and will be released in the US and in the UK on November 10, 2006.  Amazing Grace is also in post-production, but no release date has been announced yet. The White Rose continues to be listed as 'in production', there doesn't seem to have been any update on the status of that film for quite some time now unfortunately. And there also doesn't appear to have been much news on the 'rumoured' projects whilst this site has been offline. There were rumours that Albert was going to play Rumpole in a new 'Rumpole of the Bailey' series for ITV, and there was the ongoing rumour of a sequel to the wonderful The Gathering Storm. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to have been much movement announced on those projects as of yet. But Albert does appear to have plenty of other, interesting upcoming projects for us to look forward to :D
